A number of Children’s and Infants Tylenol and Motrin products produced by McNeil Pharmaceuticals were recalled by the manufacturer starting April 30, 2010. This recall was not due to adverse medical reactions and the potential for serious medical events is remote. McNeil advises consumers who have purchased these recalled products to discontinue their use. Chapel Hill Pediatrics and Adolescents, P.A. has removed all Tylenol and Motrin brand products from our stock and will no longer provide samples or administer these medications to patients until we are provided with new product from McNeil that meets their standards. |
