Nursing Staff

   
Nurse Manager: Jennifer Trieskey, RN, is a native New Yorker and has recently re-located to North Carolina. She has been a pediatric nurse for several years and has even used her nursing skills in West Africa on mission trips. She and her husband have 3 children. On her time off, Jen likes to garden, ski, camp and ride motorcycles!  
Advice Nurse: Martha, RN, lives in Chapel Hill with her husband and their kitty. They have one adult daughter with whom she enjoys spending time. Her 25 year pediatric nursing career has taken her to 6 different states and 8 different practices. She joined Chapel Hill Pediatrics and Adolescents, PA in 2005. In her spare time, Martha loves the beach, the mountains and ACC basketball. GO HEELS!!!
 

Advice Nurse: Margaret, RN, lives in Durham with her husband of 22 years, 2 dogs, 2 cats, a teenage son and a daughter who is home when not away at college. She has been a caring nurse for 27 years and loves helping and teaching patients of all ages. She is a Duke basketball fan and cheering for the Blue Devils is a favorite past time. In her spare time, she loves to garden and play tennis.



Advice Nurse: Barbara, RN and her family have lived up and down the East Coast. They have settled in Chapel Hill for the past 2 years and we hope they are here to stay! Barbara and her husband have 3 busy children and a lazy cat. She enjoys tennis, golf and swimming. Barbara uses her talents as a decorative artist when she's not at work.
Clinical Nurse: Charlie W., LPN, is a veteran at Chapel Hill Pediatrics and Adolescents, PA. She has 2 beautiful children who are a great source of pride and pleasure. In her spare time Charlie enjoys walking, listening to music, and most of all family time, including  time spent with her "family" here at work!

Clinical Nurse: Melissa D., CNA , is orginially from Memphis, TN but has lived throughout the Carolinas and now is settled in Chapel Hill. She has a toddler and is very involved in children's activities when not at work. Melissa is also a gifted vocalist!

Clinical Nurse: Jessica W., CNA plans to become a physician's assistant in the future. She moved from Jacksonville, FL to live in the Triangle area. On her days off, you can find Jessica running, biking or swimming: preparing for the next triathalon! She even has a half iron-man triathalon under her belt! Jessica's other love is international travel, having lived for 18 months in the Netherlands.
Clinical Nurse: Brian G, LPN, is an 8 year veteran of the Armed Forces. Brian spends his free time with his wife and children; he especially enjoys coaching their baseball, basketball and football teams. Brian also cheers the Tarheels.
Clinical Nurse: Patty R., RN brings many years of experience at the health department to Chapel Hill Pediatrics and Adolescents, PA. Patty is also a Childcare Health Consultant through the Smart Start Grant in North Carolina.  In her time off, Patty enjoys collecting dolls!

Clinical Nurse: Cari, RN graduated from ECU with a B.S. in nursing and has twenty years of pediatric intensive care nursing experience.  In her spare time, she enjoys vacationing at the beach and in the mountains with her family.

Clinical Nurse: Lanie Q., RN, BSN, brings many years of pediatric experience to Chapel Hill Pediatrics and Adolescents, PA. She also has experience as a nurse manager. Lanie is a mother to 3 young children that keep her and her husband busy on her days off. She also enjoys playing cards and jogging.

Clinical Nurse: Ivy B., RN, BSN received her nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin. Ivy has worked in obstetrics, gynecology, and hospice and she's happy to now be working with children, adolescents, and families. She lives in Chapel Hill with her husband and has a college-age daughter. Ivy loves to hike, sing, play piano, write poetry and analyze dreams.

 

Clinical Nurse: Madelyn T., LPN loves working with our patients at Chapel Hill Pediatrics and Adolescents, PA. When she is not at work, you'll find Madelyn taking care of her 2 boys. She and her husband like to travel, bicycle and just spend time together as a family.
Clinical Nurse: Jessica E., LPN has recently graduated from Central Carolina Community College and is excited to begin her nursing career at Chapel Hill Pediatrics and Adolescents. She has aspirations to continue her education in the future and obtain an RN degree. Jessica enjoys shopping, movies, being outdoors and traveling.  
Clinical Nurse: Sydney T., RN, BSN hails from the West Coast where she received her BSN from San Diego University. She moved to the East Coast 9 years ago. She and her husband have 2 very active boys and in their spare time they enjoy going to the beach.  

 

Clinical Nurse: Peggy L., RN, PNP, MPH, has worked in hospitals, clinics, public health, and private practices. She has 2 grown children, who live in the area and a new husband, whom she loves spending time with! Peggy enjoys dancing, playing the bells at her church, biking, skiing and international travel in her spare time.

Clinical Nurse: Whitney P, RN, is from Pittsboro and recently graduated from East Carolina University. Whitney enjoys any activity outside, especially wake-boarding at area lakes! She also can be found at the beach on her weekend off.

 

Clinical Nurse: Wendy R., RN has been a nurse for over 27 years, including 4 years as an AirForce Nurse. She and her husband have 2 teen-age children. In her time off, you will find Wendy either reading or creatively rubber-stamping.

Clinical Nurse: Mia B., RN, spends her spare time shopping for shoes, exercising or getting involved in her church. Mia is originally from Durham. One of Mia’s favorite foods is watermelon.


Clinical Nurse: Kim Y., RN moved to the Chapel Hill area from New Bern, NC. She has many years of experience in oupatient pediatrics and is currently pursuing her BSN degree. When not at Chapel Hill Pediatrics and Adolescents, PA, you will find Kim with her two children, reading or watching NFL football.
