Chapel Hill Pediatrics and Adolescents is committed to helping you, as parents, understand and manage your child’s asthma so together we can minimize the number of flare-ups your child will have.  We recommend all children with asthma be seen at least twice a year, regardless of the severity of the asthma, for an assessment and update their asthma care plan, if necessary.

The physician will assess your child's asthma and will revise the asthma care plan, if necessary.  At this appointment, we’ll also make sure you have enough prescriptions to last until the next appointment, sign any forms you may need for school and discuss any concerns you may have regarding upcoming travel or holiday schedules. Please allow 30 minutes for this appointment.

Our goal is to fully equip you, as parents of a child with asthma, to comfortably care for your child and for your child to be able to fully participate in every activity that he or she would like.
