Joseph Oleniacz, MD

Dr. Joe Oleniacz was born in Natoona Heights, Pennsylvania and grew up in Manassas, Virginia. He attended The Medical College of Virginia and completed his pediatric residency at Penn State University. Following medical school and residency Dr. Oleniacz served four years as a Major in the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps. Following honorable discharge he worked at East Tennessee Children's Hospital.  In 1990 he and his family moved to North Carolina where he worked for Kaiser Permanente before joining Chapel Hill Pediatrics in 1999.

Dr. Oleniacz lives in Durham with his wife and has two children who attend UNC-CH. In his spare time, Dr. Oleniacz enjoys driving his Mustang convertible named "Madame Blueberry."
