Have a newborn or a baby on the way? It’s an exciting time, but also brings about great change. As part of our complete pediatric services, we offer a New Parent Support Group, a resource to help mothers and fathers navigate the life changes and adjustments of parenthood.
Chapel Hill Pediatrics and Adolescents and Chapel Hill Pediatrics Psychology are proud to have teamed to provide a safe place for new mothers or fathers to meet, share and learn. The group meets only at our Chapel Hill, NC location. Participation is free, so please call 919-942-4166 ext. 100 to reserve your spot!

Though attendance and registration is free, parents must call and register with our office to participate in the New Parents Support Group. Parents may bring infants (birth to 12 months) with them to the meetings. The New Parent Support Group is held in the Chapel Hill Pediatrics and Adolescents building’s second floor conference room.

Help for Parents — in Infancy & Throughout Your Child’s Life
These weekly, hour-long meetings are led by a licensed marriage and family therapist, to provide support and parenting help. We discuss many of the issues that come with caring for and raising a child, both in infancy and throughout a lifetime. Topics covered in the New Parent Support Group meetings include:
