Dr. Steven Wasserman grew up and spent much of his life in Upstate New York. There, he received his undergraduate degrees in biochemistry and psychology at SUNY Geneseo, and went to medical school at SUNY Buffalo. From there he decided to have a change of weather and culture to complete his pediatric residency in Honolulu, Hawaii. After completing his residency in Hawaii, he decided to join his brother, living in Chapel Hill, where he became a part of our pediatric family. He is a proud member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, focusing on all aspects of pediatrics from newborns to young childhood to teenage athletes. In his free time, his interests include sports and spending time with his pets, family, and friends.
